Virginia SWCS Summer Meeting; June 12, 13, and 14; Statesville, NC

The Virginia SWCS Chapter is partnering with the North Carolina and South Carolina SWCS Chapters for a summer activity that will provide our members with educational and networking opportunities. The meeting is tentatively scheduled to be held at the Courtyard Marriott in Statesville, NC on June 12, 13 and 14. Preliminary plans include a reception the evening of June 12, tours of traditional agriculture (Amish settlement, working mill, cowboy town, etc.) on June 13 and tours of modern agriculture (dairy farm, ice cream plant, bio-diesel farm, etc.) on June 14 with a banquet on a grain farm that night. Hotel rates will be approximately $90 per day and registration is $90. The registration will include the reception, two lunches, banquet and transportation. More details of the event and registration information will be provided soon. A number of scholarships to cover registration costs are available to Virginia Chapter members.
